Dr. Kenneth Bollen, a Henry Rudolph Immerwahr Distinguished Professor of Quantitative Psychology, is the recipient of a 2016 United States Geological Survey grant.

The U.S. Geological Survey’s mission is to provide biological, geologic, topographic, and hydrologic information that contributes to the wise management of the Nation’s natural resources and promotes the health, safety, and well-being of the people. Grants supported by the U.S. Geological Survey assist with its mission to provide impartial information on the health of our ecosystems and environment, the natural hazards that threaten us, the natural resources we rely on, the impacts of climate and land-use change, and the core science systems that help us provide timely, relevant, and usable information.

Dr. Bollen received a total award of over $270,000 (over five years) for his project, ÔÇťAdvancing Structural Equation Modeling Methods and their Application to the Natural Sciences.”
